ANNOUNCEMENTS

2008 Gasshuku: the Koryu Uchinadi 6th Annual Training Camp will take place in Sewell NJ this year. Click HERE for more information.
ADULT-ONLY Classes: we now offer adult-only classes twice a week, Mondays 6pm and Sundays 1pm.
INTRODUCTION TO AIKIDO: we introduced Aikido training in January 2006, to complement our karate training at Koryukan Frederick. Sensei Jack Simpson of Western Maryland Aikikai, along with senior students of his, lead and instructed the weekly Aikido class. We took a break from learning Aikido in the summer of 2006, and we hope to bring it back as soon as the YMCA allocates us the class time and space we need.
Aikido training was made possible only by Sensei Simpson's committment to budo and to promote Aikido to the martial arts community at large. A big thank you note from the heart to Sensei Simpson.
